Characteristics

Symbol of happiness and magic, the beautiful and fragrant marjoram plant is one of the most precious of Mediterranean cuisine.

It is used dry to give a more decisive flavor to dishes. The aroma of marjoram is fresh, penetrating and slightly camphorated. Its flavor is slightly bitter but extremely more delicate than that of common oregano.

With a fresh and intense scent partially reminiscent of thyme and lemon.

Try it to flavoring, especially for meat or fish dishes but also for soups, vegetables, tofu!
